The places you go, the people you meet: Copenhagen

My 3 days in Copenhagen went by super fast. I thought it would be enough time to get to know the city and see everyone I wanted to but I wish I had more time in Copenhagen. The city was absolutely beautiful and there was a lot to see/do. The best part about my time in Copenhagen though, was the new and old friends I got to meet. The best thing about traveling is the people and the memories you share with them. I was happy to see old friends who shared some of my fondest childhood memories. Even though I didn’t see them for 6+ years, it didn’t feel weird at all. Time went by super fast reminiscing about the old times while we were making new memories.

Thank for the amazing time, Daniel, Michala and Vlad. Your hospitality made my stay in Copenhagen extra special. Hope to see all of you again soon! For those of you that I didn’t get to see on this trip, hope I get to see/meet you in the near future.

Dear Boston,

Thank you for all the experiences, people and the memories; the good and the bad. Thank you for all the life lessons I learned though obstacles and opportunities. Thank you for teaching me to appreciate everything around me; the good, bad and the ugly. Thank you for allowing me to gain invaluable skills I hope to use to enhance my career. Thank you for teaching me to be independent and helping me realize what it is that I truly want out of life. Thank you for being my temporary home. Although I always new that my stay here won’t be permanent, you managed to make me feel at home and give me a sense of security during the past 4+ years. But most of all thank you for all the amazing people I’ve met throughout my time in here.

To those of you that are endear to my heart, thank you for being there for me when I needed you and being the best friends anyone could ask for. Clearly this isn’t a good bye because I will make you travel and come see me soon. Without all of you, my time in Boston would’ve been very different and without your support/encouragement, I wouldn’t have gotten through the past year and also wouldn’t have made a brave decision to go after my passion. I am truly sad that I have to go for now but I’m also excited to see what the future holds for all of us. We’ll be in touch :).

Love you all and once again, thank you for the amazing years in Boston.

I’ll miss you, Boston

Everything around me can be just another day, another thing in Boston. It’s the same old, boring, repetitive things – but not when you know it’s your last week to experience it all for the last time.

When I started this blog last year, my biggest reason and goal was to learn to indulge on and appreciate every moment in my day – to look at things a little closer and take notice of the small things that come together to make things a little more beautiful. My last month prepping to leave has been full of moments that made me really love life.

Gonna miss going to my fave cafes around the city and lounging around all day but also looking forward to finding new ones in other cities!

There are so many things I’m going to miss but I’m also excited to find out what there is out in the world. Leaving a place is always hard but you have to close a chapter to start a new one. Thanks for the amazing 4+ years, Boston. I know this isn’t a farewell… See you again, hopefully soon! <3
